Created to honour the late Sir David Tang, founder and chairman of Pacific Cigar Co. Ltd., the official distributor of Cuban cigars for Habanos S.A. in the Asia-Pacific region.
The new cigar is called the Punch Sir David, and measures 7⅛” long by 49 ring gauge. In Cuban factories, the size is known as a Paco. While it is not quite as long as a Punch Double Corona, which measures 7⅝” in length, the Punch Sir David has the same parameters as the San Cristobal de La Habana El Morro.
The Punch Sir David comes in 50-count cabinets. Only 1,200 boxes were produced, and the cigar was made exclusively for the Asia-Pacific region.
