Jochy Blanco has been in the cigar industry as long as he can remember. He runs his own farms in the Dominican Republic, as well as his own factory that is responsible for over 8.5 million cigars a year, from companies like Sans Pareil, Aging Room, and his own brand, La Galera. 1936 Box Pressed is a line Blanco envisioned many years ago but did not come to fruition for some time. This blend is highlighted by an extensive aging period, unlike any cigar of this price point. This cigar is well paired with a bourbon or cream soda.
