For Endure, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo has turned to Cameroon for this addition to the Casa Carrillo lineup. This is a big deal: it’s the first EPC cigar he’s made with Cameroon since he worked with his father in the 1970s. And to do it, he turned to the Rolls Royce of wrappers – Meerapfel Cameroon. The binder and long fillers are Nicaraguan, generating rich flavors of coffee, wood, earth, and spice; the Meerapfel-grown leaf contributes its own kind of nuanced spice to the blend.
