The Asylum Sensorium 6×60 Gordo is a Honduran puro, showcasing the unique Pinareño tobacco, a Cuban-seed variety not often cultivated by the Eiroa family due to its susceptibility to disease and difficulty in cultivating it. Accompanying this, Eiroa family-grown Honduran corojo is also used, cultivated in the Jamastran Valley. Christian Eiroa, speaking in a press release, stated: “We used some first-generation Piñareno seed from Cuba, my father grew in Jamastran. We had not grown it since 1979, but it is worth the sacrifice, as it’s truly the tastiest tobacco I’ve ever had.” This Asylum Sensorium 6×60 Gordo cigar is made in Honduras.
