The Savinelli Gaius pipes take inspiration from a the popular Roman name “Gaius” the name was used to describe educated men, philosophers and statesmen which also describes most pipe smokers! The bowl is a black / dark brown with a black fluted stem. Like most Savinelli pipes the Gaius range take the 6mm Balsa filter.
Savinelli Tobacco Pipes started in 1876, by Achille Savinelli Sr, who in the centre of Milan, opened one of the world’s first tobacco shops. To this day passionate smokers still meet at the store location to share their love of his brilliant tobacco pipes. Savinelli has stayed a family business from its inception, with the shop and brand passing down generations. At a time where Italy was mass producing poor quality pipes, the Savinelli name was at the forefront of innovation and quality, combining family tradition with quality materials.
Today, the Savinelli range is thriving and here at , we have a huge collection of authentic Savinelli pipes and for customers to order. For any more information on these or any of our other traditional and historical tobacco pipes, with our team.
