The 188 offers a very Italian take on the classic Billiard shape, a slight canter to the bowl and a triangular shank. Complete with a slight curve to the mouthpiece and cut from a flame grained block of briar. Due to the quality of this briar, only a light stain has been applied to emphasise the grain and natural beauty of the briar.
The 88 series from Savinelli offers 3 new shapes for this iconic Italian company’s line up. Each of these shapes is totally handmade, opposed to the multi, machined process used in most of the standard lines. These shapes are all free standing and come in 3 different finishes, Smooth Brown, Rustic Brown and Natural. Only briar which is has interesting graining and minimum flaws is selected for these high grade, Natural models. Fitted with 9mm filter, acrylic mouthpieces and shipped with 9mm balsa filters (can also use the standard 9mm charcoal filters).
